On October 13, H&M will unveil a vending machine at its New York City flagship store (589 Fifth Avenue); anyone who makes a purchase of $50 or more will receive a token to use in the machine. Once you get your hands on a fancy Wang-designed water bottle, pray that you’re in Willy Wonkaand get the golden ticket. 

Customers who find the coveted winning tickets will have the opportunity to attend either the collab’s launch party on October 16 or a VIP shopping event on November 5th — yes, that’s a full day before the collection hits the racks. 

P.S.: For the yogis of the world, keep an eye out for postings around the city promoting the event’s livestream. If you upload a photo of the poster with hashtags #alexanderwangxhm and #imwatchingAWxHM, you have the potential to win a yoga mat from the collection. That’s reason enough to renew your gym membership.

Woolrich  first flagship boutique in the US.
Located at the corner of Wooster and Prince, Woolrich’s new shop will be a two-level space that will carry mens and women’s apparel and accessories from Woolrich John Rich & Bros and menswear from Woolrich Woolen Mills. Covering over 1,900 square feet, the space will tell the story of the brand’s 184 year history and will feature vintage items such as wool-production tooling, garments, and catalogues from their archive.

H&M X Alexander Wang

H&M announced yesterday during an event at the Coachella Music Festival, in Palm Springs, California, USA, that their next designer collaboration will be with Alexander Wang. This partnership marks the first time that an American designer teams up with H&M on the much anticipated designer collaboration.

The New York based Fashion Designer’s eponymous brand has firmly established itself by perpetually evolving and re-contextualizing the urban uniform, since it was launched on the runway in 2007. Alexander Wang’s core sensibility is a reflection on contrasts, blending seamlessly between the refined and the imperfect.  His collections have an unprecious outlook on fashion, and always reflect a sense of ease.

The Alexander Wang x H&M collection will feature apparel and accessories for women and men.  Typical for his irreverent approach, Alexander Wang will propose a new take on the lifestyle product offering that goes beyond fashion.  The full collection will be available in 250 H&M stores worldwide, and online starting November 6, 2014.
